166 mascots in once place - that’s a world record and gets an entry in the Guinness Book of Records! An international meeting of mascots took place in Karlsruhe, on the occasion of the city festival, with an ambitious aim: To hold the largest meeting of this kind and to break the current world record. Achieving the world record is also due to the Fressnapf mascots Streifi and Flecki, the dog and the cat from the Fressnapf logo.

With glorious sunshine and the very best atmosphere among the many visitors, Streifi and Flecki, along with the panda from Kölle-Zoo, took part in a colourful parade through the streets of Karlsruhe, with the many other figures. The big count was then at the Stephansplatz. Olaf Kuchenbecker, notary at the Guinness Book of Records, kept a watchful eye out to make sure that everything went according to the rules. The rules state that all figures must stand together in one place for at least ten minutes. Amid great jubilation and cheering from the crowd, Kuchenbecker counted the mascots, who arrived at the square in a long row with the official result - New world record!

The previous record holder was Chiayi City in Taiwan, where 128 mascots gathered in one place in February of this year.
