Cats nibble best with Fressnapf
At Christmas, many pet owners also want to spoil their four-legged friends with a feast – so-called premium foods and special festive menus for dogs and cats are especially popular at this time of year. In its December edition, the specialist eco-testing magazine “Öko-Test” has published the results of a comparative test of premium moist foods for dogs and cats. Among the 13 products tested for cats, “real nature” from Fressnapf scored particularly well. It was the only product rated “Very good”.
real nature in the alu tray in the flavour Salmon & Chicken with Potatoes and Thistle Oil convinced “Öko-Test” overall through its balanced composition. The testers rated the quantities of important amino acids, vitamins A and E, as well as calcium and phosphorus, with the best score. Öko-Test also found the content of further minerals and the so-called protein-energy ratio good. Overall result: real nature is a nutritious and complete food, with which cats are provided with a balance of all important nutrients.
Amongst the premium products tested, the Fressnapf brand real nature belongs in the upper price segment. It stands out from other cat foods for its high-quality ingredients and the gentle production method. The real nature creations in an alu tray in Chicken & Shrimp, Venison & Poultry, Salmon & Chicken as well as Beef & Poultry consist of 100% muscle meat respectively fish fillets in the meat components. Cats can very effectively absorb the nutrients and the food scores through good digestibility.
