In-house exhibition becomes showcase

Bigger and better: in-house exhibitions are old hat. In the future, Fressnapf will invite all its franchise partners and employees to an annual "showcase" held in warehouses at the company's headquarters in Krefeld, Germany. "In most cases it used to be just the trade fair discounts that attracted our people to Krefeld. This year, we will start to showcase the services our headquarters has to offer in an exciting way. We want to convince our partners that our ideas, concepts and range of products offer the best prospects of business success," says Fressnapf CEO Torsten Toeller, explaining the new event concept.
Marco Werner, head of the Catalogue Management department and coordinator of the new showcase, adds, "We have extended the fair from one to two days and increased the exhibition area by more than half to a total of around 2,500 m2. Already two central warehouse halls are ready for the showcase event. This year, Fressnapf’s exhibition booth alone is 1,100 m2. The comprehensive range of products will offer our partners and their employees the opportunity to get ‘fit for the future’ and further increase sales as never before." According to Mr. Werner, the fact that industry exhibitors will also follow the showcase concept is a particularly positive sign.

At its booth, Fressnapf will present its new Fressnapf academy training programme, the new live animal management department and a range of exclusive new brands, using the strapline "Welcome to the winner’s system". Another focus of the Fressnapf booth will be new space management software for optimal shelf stocking and the new Fressnapf catalogue for autumn/winter 2008/2009.

On the Saturday of the event, all trade fair visitors will for the first time get the opportunity to take part in a "product rally", which guides participants to all of the most important stops en route with the chance of winning great prizes. The legendary Fressnapf trade fair party will be held in the evening, as in previous years, with food, drink and live music to prove that the people at Fressnapf don’t just work hard, but that they also know how to party.
