First Tiertafel and Fressnapf goodwill tour

With stops in Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Bremen, Brandenburg and Berlin

The "Tiertafel-mobile" is travelling across Germany from September 26th to October 4th for German pet food charity Tiertafel Deutschland e.V., supported by Fressnapf. The first ever goodwill tour has all kinds of information and surprises for customers and visitors on board and will stop at six Fressnapf stores across Germany. The tour culminates in the opening of the new Tiertafel distribution centre in Berlin on October 4th, World Animal Day. "We will bring with us all of the pet food that Fressnapf customers have donated on the tour. I would like to extend my sincere thanks in advance for all donations, which I am sure will help make the goodwill tour a success," says Claudia Hollm from Tiertafel Deutschland e.V.. The charity is made up of voluntary helpers who are committed to supporting pets and their owners and enabling species-appropriate care through consultation and pet food donations. The goodwill tour aims to show that together, these involved animal lovers make a strong nationwide team, according to Hollm.

The tour starts at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 26th at Tiertafel in Chiemgau. From there, the tour continues on to Munich-Sendling, where the "Tiertafel-mobile" will stop from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Fressnapf car park. Customers who visit Fressnapf during this time with the relevant voucher can exchange this for pet food and donate it directly to Tiertafel. Guests include the Chiemgau dog school, which will provide an entertaining supporting program, and animal sponsors. Visitors can find out all about Tiertafel, its sponsors and supporters. After a stopover at the Tiertafel distribution centre in Munich, the next stop is Frankfurt, where the "Tiertafel-mobile" will stop at the Fressnapf car park in Bergen-Enkheim from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., where customers can likewise buy discounted pet food to donate to Tiertafel. There will also be a promotion for street cats and the "Tiertafel-mobile" will inform visitors about the work of their volunteer helpers. At 2 p.m., the mobile travels on to Tiertafel Frankfurt and then Tiertafel Bad Dürkheim at 4 p.m..

After a day off, the tour continues on to Krefeld on Monday September 29th to pay Fressnapf's headquarters a visit, before continuing on to Hamburg via Osnabrück. The "Tiertafel-mobile" will stop at the car park at Fressnapf in Altona on September 30th from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, once again with customer discounts for the benefit of animals, followed by the Fressnapf car park in Bremen from 3 p.m.. Here, interested parties can find out in advance about the new Tiertafel distribution centre in Bremen, which will be opened in November.

The tour continues on October 1st to Brandenburg via the Tiertafel centres in Wolfsburg and Magdeburg, where the mobile will stop over at the Fressnapf car park from 1 to 5 p.m.. Next stop is Tiertafel in Schwedt on October 2nd, followed by Fressnapf in Berlin where the "Tiertafel-mobile" will stop in the car park from 2 to 6 p.m., again with discounts for a good cause.

The end and highlight of the goodwill tour is reached on Saturday October 4th upon arrival at the Tiertafel distribution centre in Berlin, which is opening its doors for the first time. Laden with presents and donations from Fressnapf customers, as well as gifts from other Tiertafel centres, the end of the tour and the opening of the new centre will be celebrated in Berlin.
