Fressnapf is Germany’s favourite pet supplies retailer, according to a study by Dutch consultants Q&A Research & Consultancy.
33,000 consumers took part in the “Retailer of the Year Germany 2008” study, which was carried out in Germany for the first time. Participants were asked online to name their “favourite” retail chain for each of 16 sectors. Consumers based their choices on expert advice, value for money, customer service and other criteria. The study analysed a total of 91,000 surveys.
Q&A Research and Consultancy have been conducting similar studies in the Netherlands for six years and in Belgium for three. This was the first time consumers in Germany, France and Italy have been surveyed in this way.
