Golden Schau Schau for “Autumn biker”

The Fressnapf marketing team and Hamburg agency BrawandRieken are celebrating the original “Mach glücklich, was dich glücklich macht” (make happy what makes you happy) campaign again. The “autumn biker”, the advertisement motif where a motorcyclist takes his dog for a “walk” in his sidecar through an autumn landscape, was chosen as “Best Print Advertisement with Animals” and received the Golden Schau Schau 2012. Fressnapf product managers for the private label MORE4DOGS were delighted to get bronze for the Foodbar Dualo Ambiente in the category “Most Imaginative Product for Pets”.

Readers of the magazines “Ein Herz für Tiere”, “Geliebte Katze” and “Partner Hund” have awarded Fressnapf the “Schau Schau” prize for the ninth time in a row and twice in this year alone. The award ceremony took place in Munich on 20th April.

For the second time in a row, readers of these popular pet magazines voted the Fressnapf press advertisement with the pillion pooch into first place in the “Best Print Advertisement with Animals” category, giving it the “Golden Schau Schau” award. “We are very happy and proud that we keep managing to win one or more of these prizes, which are based on readers’ votes”, said Jutta Türk, Head of National Marketing at Fressnapf.

The Foodbar Dualo Ambiente, a perfect and elegantly designed eating place for dogs from Fressnapf private label MORE4DOGS, was awarded the bronze Schau Schau for “Most Imaginative Product for Animals”. According to Daniel Liba, Head of Private Label Non-Food department at Fressnapf, “our young, dynamic and ambitious team works every day to develop new private labels and products for Fressnapf, to make the pet market more emotionally appealing, trendy and colourful. Winning the Schau Schau spurs us on to keep working on great new products and perhaps even going for gold next year.”
